I think you unknowingly feel this when you try on one of the pieces in the booth. I’ve watched enough faces light up when trying this on to think there may be something to it!

White Buffalo comes from Tonopah, Nevada, and the mine is owned and operated by the Otteson Family. This great family comes to the Tucson show each year, and it’s such a treat to see all of thier stones and catch up with them! All of the White Buffalo I purchase is from them, and many of you are already enjoying pieces of this wonderful stone.

It is often referred to as White Buffalo Turquoise because it is found in a turquoise mine. It does not have any iron, copper or zinc in it so it does not take on the blues and greens of turquoise as we know it. So not technically a turquoise, but it forms in the same mine.

We don’t buy this stone from anywhere else except mine direct, you can always count on this being authentic and the best quality out there.

So, there you have it, mystery explained!
